Handwoven in Bolgatanga, Ghana by skilled weavers who have spent years at this. Elephant grass, cut and dyed at the compound. Patterns hand-counted, hand-paced. The kind of object a room notices. The kind guests ask about.

The Baba Tree collection includes shopping baskets, market baskets, storage baskets, laundry baskets, decorative baskets and specialty designs. A range of sizes and colours. And if the baskets stop you, the lampshades will too. Handwoven by the same weavers, in the same tradition.

Every piece is credited to the weaver who made it. That weaver earns a commission of 5 to 12.5% of the retail price, on top of their original payment. Not a footnote. The operating reality of this workshop.
