Bolga Fans

The Bolga Fan is handwoven wall art from Bolgatanga, Ghana. A wall is just a wall until you hang these on it.

It began as a hand fan for cooling and has become one of the easiest ways to bring colour and movement to a bare space. Hang one as a single statement, or group a dozen into a composition you could never buy off a shelf.

They come in dreamy hues, graphic black, and clean solids, so you can build anything from a quiet pairing to a full gallery wall, above a sofa, a bed, a stairwell, or down a hallway. Frame one on its own for a more formal piece.

Each is shaped by hand from elephant grass.
