Nosere-Yure Art Basket
The daily lives of Gurunsi artisans, woven with singing and craft at the Baba Tree Compound are at the heart of our designs. Nosere-yure is a Gurune word for a water-filled clay vessel with holes, allowing chickens and guinea fowl to dip their heads and take a refreshing slurp. Beyond its rich story, this basket makes a striking decorative piece, bringing a touch of tradition and charm to any home.
The weaver of this basket will receive 12.5% of the retail price as a commission in addition to what they were already paid for weaving the basket.
