Woven Tray Wall Décor
Handwoven Bolga wall art, made from elephant grass in Bolgatanga, Ghana. A wall hanging that refuses to stay on the wall.
These handwoven discs make a bold statement hung on their own, or arranged in pairs, trios or more for a fuller display. Lift one down and it works just as well flat on a table, a splendid sculptural centrepiece for a dinner or a console.
Choose your weave. Single weave is firmer and quicker to make, with a crisp, structured finish. Double weave takes almost twice as long, sits more malleably, and comes out noticeably stronger, which is why it carries a higher price.
One note: these have handles, but they are made to be shown, not carried.
Our weavers are paid well for weaving our products. They will receive 5% of the retail price as a commission for 'single weave', and a 10% commission for 'double weave' in addition to what they were initially paid upon completion of a woven tray.
You will receive the Woven Tray in the picture. In our photos, Woven Trays are presented by the weavers who created them.
